Job Description**

World Wide Technology, Inc. currently has an opportunity available for a Windows Applications Administrator located in Tampa, FL. The Windows Applications team is responsible for a breadth of technologies which run as platforms on the Windows Server stack at WWT. Technologies include, but are not limited to OS, Active Directory, Exchange, Middleware, Automation, Splunk, and Configuration platforms.

The ideal candidate is a logical thinker who prefers working in a collaborative manor. They have a passion for technology and are interested in taking on new solutions and challenges. Solutions provided should think outside the box and where possible by OS agnostic. They should have a desire to learn technology and processes outside of their assigned technology stack.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Resolution of submitted Incidents and Service Requests with a focus on customer service and SLA adherence

+ Improvement of current processes and technology stack

+ End-to-end monitoring of supported platforms for performance, capacity, and availability

+ Maintain technical documentation for support and deployment of business services

+ Perform Life Cycle Management tasks such as patching and upgrades on deployed systems

+ Automate non-value add work to minimize support time

+ Provide on-call and after-hour support for production environments on a rotation basis

**Qualifications**

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ 5+ years of experience in Information Technology

+ Demonstrated knowledge of PowerShell commands and administrative principles

+ Prior experience working with the following technologies: Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange,

+ Proven problem-solving, change management and technical planning skills

+ Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills

+ A passion to learn new skills and new technology

+ Prior experience with configuration management tools like Puppet is a plus

+ Prior exposure to software development principles, agile, and GitHub preferred
